It's been far too long since I updated my blog, so I'll try and make up for it with some great recent race results from PTC athletes.

Firstly, we had Adam running at the Jackal 1/2 marathon who finished in a great time of 2 hours 21 minutes bringing him home in 15th place overall - great result for a tough race and then the following weekend he also finished the Parbold Duathlon in 36th place – great work Adam.
Then Dave had yet another great race at the Ian Roberts Memorial Fell race finishing 10th overall and then backed that up 2 weeks later at at the Middle Fell Race with another podium finish, finishing 6th overall and 1st in his age group - well done Dave.

Onto the triathlon season which started with Lynne who raced at the Splashworld Triathlon finishing in the top half of the field and 7th in her age group. Well done Lynne.
Five PTC athletes then took on the Kendal Sprint Triathlon with a new challenging bike and run course. Despite still suffering from injury, (or so he tells us), Coach Pat somehow managed to bag 7th place overall and show many a fit and well-trained person how things should be done. He was closely followed by Chris (who looked super aero on his TT bike) who finished in 33rd place overall. Then came Barry who finished in 81st place (looking far too relaxed and cool in his photos), followed by Becky finishing in 152nd place and then Ian who finished in 172nd place with a big smile on his face.

And lastly, PTC’s newest member Lucy finished the Bluebell 10-mile trail run yesterday finishing over 10 minutes quicker than she did last year – well done Lucy.
Other than that, it’s back to coaching and training for all involved with team PTC.
Keep up the good work guys.
