As the season (and the weather) hots up, the results are coming in thick and fast for Team PTC.
Last weekend, Coach Pat and Dave took on the XTERRA UK Duathlon (5km off road run, 30km mountain bike, 5km off road run). Always close racing between these two with Dave taking the lead after the first run, then Coach Pat taking back time on the bike catching and overtaking Dave and then Dave coming back with a mile to go on the run to take the honours between them. Dave finished 5th overall and Coach Pat 6th.
Barry had flown out to Texas to take on the Texas Ironman - we're still not sure whether it was the actual race he was going for, or the BBQ food, but either way, Barry completed the race in style finishing in just under 15 and a half hours.
Julia had flown out to Gran Canaria to take on Challenge Mogan and just like Barry, we're not sure if it was the race, a chance of meeting Jonny Brownlee or a holiday that was the main attraction. Julia did great though finishing 2nd in her age group and got to meet Jonny after all.
Staying on home soil, smiley Lee took on Horwich Triathlon (locally known as Kona Of The North), finished under 2 hours and also bagged 2nd place in his age group - great work Lee.
And last but not least, Mike had a great time at the Dalby Forrest Duathlon finishing 10th in his age group. Way to go Mike.
